It is with great sadness that I learned yesterday of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. On behalf of Worcester College and the whole Worcester community, I would like to offer our condolences to the Queen’s family as we all celebrate the values of dignity, service and charity which she embodied for so long. As a mark of respect for her remarkable 70 years of service to the nation, the College will be flying the Union Flag at half mast until the Queen’s funeral.

Worcester College is delighted to be building on its long and distinguished musical history with the appointment of a new Director of College Music. This new post combines responsibility for promoting a flourishing musical environment in College in which all musical styles and genres will be represented together with leadership of both the choirs: the College Choir of undergraduate and postgraduate students joined by trebles, and the Worcester Allsorts community choir.
