Get an authentic taste of Oxford as one of our registered Visiting Students, with study options available from a term (trimester) up to a full academic year.
Worcester seeks mature, intellectually adventurous undergraduates who will thrive in the Oxford environment, where students have a great deal of academic and personal autonomy. Undergraduate students currently studying in North America and China are welcome to apply: we host up to 27 Visiting Students per term, and we seek students who will thrive in an environment that requires lots of self-directed, focused study.
If you’d like to study at Oxford, but aren’t eligible to apply for the Visiting Student programme, you might like to consider applying as an international student.

Tuition fees & living costs
Your fees depend on the study abroad programme you’ve applied through. It is generally the case that financial aid follows you when you come to Oxford, so finances shouldn’t get in the way of your study here. The programme directors at Harvard, Princeton, Swarthmore, Wellesley, and IFSA/Butler will be happy to discuss fees and financial aid with you.
Students applying through Oxford Prospects usually pay fees directly to Worcester. Oxford Prospects will have the most up-to-date information.
When considering studying in Oxford, you should also take into account your living costs as well as additional costs such as visas and your travel to the UK.
The University estimates living costs to be between £1,290 – £1,840 a month in 2023-24, including accommodation, food, social and study costs. Our subsidised student accommodation at Worcester is comfortable, private and affordable, while our flexible catering options mean you can choose to cook for yourself or eat communally in our historic dining hall. You can also make use of our free on-site sports facilities and gym.
