How can I donate?

Every gift makes a difference. On average donations from alumni make up to 25% of our annual income; we couldn’t achieve everything we do without you. There are lots of ways you can support Worcester, from making a one-off gift to setting up a regular donation or leaving us a legacy in your will.

Recognising your support

We are immensely grateful to everyone who supports Worcester financially. We rely on philanthropy for around 25% of our income each year, so every gift has a real impact in helping the College to flourish. Worcester expresses its gratitude to donors via publications and through a range of events and giving circles. The names of all donors are included in The Record in the year of the gift, unless a donor wishes to remain anonymous.

The Foundation Circle

The Foundation Circle recognises donors who give £2,000 or more (£134 plus Gift Aid monthly; $2,500 via Americans for Oxford) in an academic year; you become a member for the year of your gift, or for as long as you make a regular gift. We plan to hold an annual event each autumn to bring members closer to the life of the College, welcoming everyone who was a Foundation Circle member in the previous academic year.
Names are recorded in a special section of the Donor Impact Report, unless a donor wishes to remain anonymous.

The 1714 Society

The 1714 Society recognises the generosity and commitment of those who have pledged a gift to the College in their will. Named for the year of Worcester’s founding, the legacy society recognises the longstanding tradition of giving to the College, stretching back to Worcester’s foundation as the result of a £10,000 legacy from Sir Thomas Cookes.

1714 Society members are invited to an annual event. Names are recorded in a special section of the Donor Impact Report, unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous.
