Professor Grant Ritchie MA, DPhil
Grant was an undergraduate and DPhil student at Trinity College, Oxford. He then became a Junior Research Fellow at St. John’s College, Oxford, before winning a prestigious Royal Society Fellowship. He is now Professor of Chemistry and the John and Patricia Danby Tutorial Fellow in Chemistry at Worcester College.
Professor Ritchie’s (physical chemistry) research focuses on the application of laser-based spectroscopic techniques to a variety of fundamental and applied problems in the areas of gas-phase reaction kinetics and dynamics, optical micromanipulation and medical diagnostics (see http://ritchie.chem.ox.ac.uk/).
