Current student Ephraim Conteh (2017) – who has been elected JCR president for the next academic year – has successfully nominated one of his former school teachers, Jonathan Taylor, for an Oxford University awards scheme designed to recognise excellent teachers from state schools and colleges.

The Inspirational Teachers scheme is designed to acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in encouraging talented students in their schools or colleges to apply to Oxford. The ten winning teachers were honoured at an event at St Peter’s College on 18th May.
