Queen’s Birthday Honours: Claire Robins OBE

Worcester Old Member Claire Robins, who came to the College to study Classics in 1985, has been awarded an OBE in the latest Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

She is being recognised for her services to Education, one of around 1,000 extraordinary people across the United Kingdom listed for their achievements. Ms Robins is Headteacher of Sir John Lawes School, a secondary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire; and CEO of Scholars’ Education Trust, and a Member of the North-West London South-Central Headteacher Board.

Claire said: ‘To know you are doing a job where you can actually make a difference to people’s lives is a responsibility I don’t take lightly, but it’s also a massive privilege and to receive this recognition is humbling.’
