Introducing Sustainability Season 2024

Environmental sustainability is both a key strand of the College Strategy and this year’s interdisciplinary research theme at Worcester.

Throughout Hilary and Trinity Term 2024, there’s a season of events and initiatives designed to forge interdisciplinary links around the subject. In 6th Week of Hilary we’ll be joining Oxford’s Green Action Week and you’ll be able to enjoy a biodiverse garden tour with Head of Gardens & Grounds Simon Bagnall, learn more about the latest advancements in energy conversion and storage at Worcester Energy Day, and learn how to use iNaturalist to record your sightings ahead of our first Biodiversity Assessment Day in April.

We’ll also enjoy events with this term’s Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Dr Tundi Agardy, including an online lecture for Old Members and an interdisciplinary workshop for students interested in ‘a sustainable ocean for all’.
