Coleen Day appointed Development Strategy Fellow

Following the extraordinary success of the Tercentenary Campaign and in recognition of Coleen Day’s key role in that success, we are delighted to announce that Governing Body has appointed Coleen to the new position of Development Strategy Fellow with effect from today.

As Development Strategy Fellow, Coleen will play a central role in formulating the next phase of the College’s development strategy, drawing on the riches of her 25 years’ experience at Worcester.

Coleen said: ‘I am grateful to the Governing Body for their generous recognition, and for the support they have given me and the Development Team over the years. Worcester is a fascinating place to work and I truly love it. I have met so many incredibly loyal Old Members to whom the College and I owe huge thanks. I have worked with two brilliant Provosts, Dick Smethurst and Sir Jonathan Bate, both having led very successful campaigns. Looking forward, I relish the opportunity of working with the Interim Provost, Dr Kate Tunstall, and to focusing on Worcester’s future development strategy.’

Later in the year we will begin the search for a new Development Director to work alongside Coleen and the team.
