Giving Day raises over £300,000

We are delighted to report that Old Members and friends of Worcester have shown extraordinary generosity over the course of the 2024 Giving Day.

579 people made a gift as part of the day, from 23 countries around the world. £157,300 was raised to fund critical repairs to Worcester’s leaking lake, and over £25,000 was raised to support students. Our innovative Music at Worcester programmes received £23,300, while £95,177 was raised for the Worcester Fund, which lies at the heart of life here. Thank you to everyone who took part, and especially the generous supporters who matched gifts from our community.

The donor wall was a testament to the affection Old Members feel for their College, and the excitement for the projects and initiatives happening today which make Worcester an outstanding place to live and work.

"So many wonderful memories in the gardens, strolling past the lake and thankfully never being thrown in it!"
