Experience an evening of South American folk from Plínio Fernandes with singer and cellist Hadewych van Gent.
Born and raised in São Paulo, exclusive Decca Gold recording artist Plínio Fernandes fuses the tradition of classical guitar with Brazilian folk music. Plínio was chosen by Forbes Brazil for their ‘30 Under 30’ list and declared a Rising Star by Classic FM. He has recently been touring the UK with Sheku Kanneh-Mason and performing with Lang Lang. For Music at Worcester, Plínio will be playing a mix of attractive South American repertoire from his previous two albums, Saudade and Bacheando, alongside new collaborations with singer and cellist Hadewych van Gent.
The concert will be 70 minutes with no interval. Please note that the venue is a five minute walk from the main entrance to the College on Walton Street.
