The Governing Body of Worcester College invites applications from exceptional candidates to fulfil the role of Senior Tutor, tenable from January 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is full-time and permanent (subject to a probationary period of one year). This is an important post for Worcester College, and the post-holder will be expected to play a central role in the leadership of academic strategy and activities within the College. The Senior Tutor acts as Tutor for Admissions and has overall responsibility for undergraduate admissions, outreach and access, student academic progress, and the provision of teaching and support, including the academic staff appointments process. The role also includes strategic oversight of graduate student matters, working closely with the Tutor for Graduates.
Worcester College proposes to appoint a two-year Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), potentially renewable for one further year, in any area of the law, from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2025.
Applications are invited for a fixed-term Stipendiary Lectureship in Computer Science at Worcester College, tenable from 1 January 2023 to 30 September 2023. The lecturer will be required to give tutorials and classes for a number of first- and second-year courses, notably Imperative Programming and Algorithms and Data Structures, with a teaching stint of six (weighted) hours per week during term.
