The Learning Development Officer

The Learning Development Officer (LDO) is a new role created in October 2020 to support an inclusive learning environment in the College and to work towards equal access to student success for all students. This role involves the provision of study skills training to students on topics such as: academic writing, reading and notetaking and time management. The LDO also works alongside tutors and other members of staff on inclusive pedagogy strategies. Furthermore, the role includes the administration of the Equal Access to Learning Fund, a fund established to provide material support for learning such as through the provision of laptops, books and other materials to students. The post is generously funded by the Dorset Trust, and the College is delighted that Rea Duxbury has joined us in this role. Worcester students and tutors can contact Rea at this address: rea.duxbury@worc.ox.ac.uk
