College Life

Worcester is a warm and lively community. Visiting students will find an overwhelming number of extracurricular activities open to them. Perusing the Junior Common Room (JCR) website is a good way to get a sense of student life in College: you will find a packed calendar of social events, as well as opportunities to participate in societies for athletics and the arts. The College Chapel is notably the home of two accomplished choirs.

Visiting students at Worcester also enjoy an array of activities and events organized specifically for them. There are regular formal dinners and receptions with tutors, College officers, and members of the JCR, and also a variety of excursions over the course of the year. Destinations might include the nearby Blenheim Palace, London theatres and museums, RSC shows at Stratford,  or, sometimes, more locally, Oxford's own museums, Port Meadow, and punting on the Thames.
