Academics
Worcester's visiting students are registered Oxford University students, and as such, they have full rights to attend lectures and use the University libraries. They are also of course welcome to use the Worcester College Library, which contains over 65,000 volumes, in addition to special collections.
Each visiting student pursues one "major" tutorial and one "minor" tutorial per term; major tutorials meet for an hour each week, and minor tutorials meet for an hour every other week. Tutorials are arranged for each visiting student before the start of each term by the Programme Director, who works with each student individually to design a suitable academic programme.
First-term tutorials are determined by the choices made on the student's application form. Once they're in Oxford, students have greater guidance and flexibility in choosing the following term's tutorials.
