Worcester College is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Scouts to support our Domestic Team during the summer months, from mid-June to the end of September.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekend shifts (Monday to Sunday).
As a Scout, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and guests. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, who take pride in high standards of cleanliness and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning a variety of College buildings, including student bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, Fellows’ rooms, and communal areas to the highest standards.
- Making up beds and preparing rooms for guest occupancy.
- Removing rubbish and recycling to designated collection areas.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or breaches of College rules.
- Helping to ensure the security of College buildings by reporting any suspicious activity or hazards.
- Maintaining a safe working environment in line with College Health and Safety policies.
- Supporting colleagues and covering duties where needed.

Pay: Oxford Living Wage
