Worcester College Choir in Concert
Join the magnificent Choir of Worcester College, Oxford as they preview their 2025 tour repertoire.
In preparation for their summer travels to Rouen and Brussels, Worcester College Choir sing in the beautiful 12th Century Templar church at Broadwell, just south of Burford, on the edge of the Cotswolds. A programme of (mostly) English and French music will focus on the glorious Requiem of Gabriel Fauré, and the ethereal Latin Motets of Charles Villiers Stanford.
Worcester College Choir, directed by Caius Lee, is fast gaining a reputation as one of the best ensembles in Oxford. In a college that has almost 90% state-school intake, the Choir sings several chapel services a week in addition to its regular concert schedule. The students self-fund their summer choir tour, and proceeds from this concert will help them on their way!
At the venue, you’ll be able to buy drinks from the bar and enjoy the summer evening. There is also plentiful free parking adjacent to the church.
