Applications are invited for a Fixed-term Lectureship in Engineering Science at Worcester College, tenable for three years from 1 October 2016. The lecturer will be required to teach up to 6 hours a week to students studying Engineering Science. This will principally comprise teaching the electrical, electronic and information engineering and some of the mathematical material of the course to first and second year undergraduates. An ability to give classes on the Engineering in Society material in the course would be an advantage.
The College proposes to elect to two Junior Research Fellowships in the Sciences (open to all subjects in the Sciences) and to the Tilleard-Cole Junior Research Fellowship in Psychiatry/Neuroscience, all for a period of two years from 1st October 2016. The Fellows will not receive a stipend from the College but will be members of the Senior Common Room, entitled to lunch and dine free of charge (when the kitchens are open). There is a fund to which Junior Research Fellows may apply for limited research support and travel to conferences.
