Applications are invited for the newly created role of Housekeeping Manager who will be responsible for managing the College’s entire housekeeping operation, ensuring the highest level of cleaning provision and customer service to all its Members and visitors. An experienced manager, you will directly line manage around 20 staff in 3 separate teams with support from 3 Housekeeping Supervisors to cover the 7 day a week operation.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to provide excellent support to the College’s core operational function and ensure a responsive service with an emphasis on customer care. You will be an excellent communicator and will have worked previously in a similar role, with a strong customer service focus, preferably within the hospitality industry. You will have experience of successfully leading a team and be responsible for managing staff on a daily basis, resolving conflicts, setting work rosters, ordering supplies, holding meetings, training staff, and, setting and producing tasks. You will also have experience of dealing effectively with customers. Budget management experience and the ability to work with and shape policies and procedures is also vital for this role.
