Salary:
Salary on a scale from £52,815 to £70,918 per annum, increasing each year to the top of the scale, plus a college housing allowance of £10,952.

Worcester College, Oxford, and the Faculty of English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford are recruiting a Tutorial Fellow and Associate Professor or Professor of American Literature, with effect from 1 September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. 

Applications are invited from well-qualified candidates with expertise in American literature from 1800 to the present day. The successful candidate will be required to enthuse and inspire students at both the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels through tutorials, classes, lectures and supervision.

Salary:
Grade 7.1 - 7.8: £36,024 - £44,263 p.a. (may consider higher for an exceptionally qualified candidate)

The role of Strategy and Governance Officer requires a pro-active, results-oriented strategic thinker with excellent project management and communication skills. It involves supporting and advising the College in maintaining its policies and complying with its regulatory duties, as well as providing practical support for the delivery of a wide range of strategic initiatives and transformational projects.

The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator who has the ability to motivate and inspire others and the experience to shape and deliver complex projects or change initiatives. We’re looking for someone who can understand the big picture and provide appropriate strategic advice while being willing to work on the administrative, regulatory and practical details.

Salary:
Grade 4.6 - 4.9: £28,759 - £31,396 p.a.
