Worcester’s incoming JCR president Ephraim Conteh and other students who have completed their first year have urged prospective students to come to the University of Oxford’s Open Days, which will take place on Wednesday 27 June, Thursday 28 June and Friday 14 September.

Ephraim, originally from London, said: ‘See what life is like and get a glimpse of what the future could hold for you.’

Worcester will welcome students, parents, carers and teachers to meet staff and students, and provide a tour of the College and its beautiful gardens. Anyone who is thinking of applying to Oxford can sample the atmosphere that makes student life here so special.

Undergraduate Jack Nunn, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, said: ‘My first experience of Worcester is that it is a very inclusive place. It’s somewhere for everyone.’

Meanwhile, Laura Smith from Scotland also has encouraging advice for students. She said: ‘You are surrounded by people who are just the most interesting I have ever met in my life.'
