Location and Opening Times
Worcester College is located in the centre of Oxford on the junction of Beaumont Street, Walton Street and Worcester Street. The college is just across the road from the main bus and coach station, and is a 10 minute walk from the railway station and main shopping areas. The College is normally open to visitors every day from 2pm to 4pm (except some public holidays and during the College's Christmas closure period). Prospective applicants and members of the public are very welcome to visit and look around the College grounds, free of charge. No booking is required for individuals or for groups of fewer than 6 people. All visitors are asked to report to the Porters' Lodge, on the right just inside the main entrance, on arrival.

Accessibility Information for Disabled Visitors
The College is located on a multi-level site. The main entrance into the College and to the Porters' Lodge have flat access. The Dining Hall and Chapel have ramped and stair access. There is a platform lift to take visitors with mobility difficulties from the entrance level to the south side of the site, and the Porters will provide assistance with its use, if needed. There is a lift with flat access to take visitors to the North side of the site.
Adapted toilet facilities for visitors can be found in the Pump Quad and at the base of Staircase 6 (directions can be given on request). From the Porters' Lodge there are staircase entrances with +2 stairs and some groundfloor rooms off these staircases are +1 stairs. Ground floor rooms in the medieval cottages are accessed by -1 stair. There is no lift provision to other floors of the oldest parts of the College, and currently the libraries, computer rooms, bar and JCR are up or down a steep flight of stairs.
