Refurbishment of the Hall

Our beautifully renovated Dining Hall has been shortlisted for an award in the 'Building Conservation' category by the Oxford Preservation Trust (OPT). The Hall, which reopened at the start of Trinity term, has already hosted a number of celebration dinners for Old Members. It had not been refurbished since 1966 when it was controversially restored to the original Wyatt scheme. We appointed contractors Benfield and Loxley, local contractors who have worked with a number of Oxford colleges, to start the project in October 2017. You will see that we have created a number of pages charting progress over the year and you can see the stunning results now the work has been completed. We will find out on 6 November whether the renovation project has won the OPT award.
