Access and Admissions Officer giving a talk on university

Yorkshire and Humber Roadshow

How do I apply? What do I write in my personal statement? How do I know which subject I want to study? Do I have the right qualifications? Is Oxford the right place for me? We're visiting schools across our link areas (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield) to help you find out.

The roadshow event will be taking place in hub schools across our link region, and will combine information on applying for university (including support with personal statements and interviews) with subject taster sessions, and a chance to ask any questions that you may have about what university study and university life is like. Some of the sessions will be focussed around Oxford applications, but we have designed the day in such a way that it will be useful to all of those considering applying to highly selective universities. State school teachers from nearby schools are invited to book their students in to one of the events.

Booking is done via Eventbrite, and teachers who book a number of students onto the days will be contacted for further information about the students that they are bringing, so that students can be allocated sessions that suit their subject interests. Numbers are limited, so please book as soon as you are able to, and let us know if your group is no longer able to attend.

**Please note that booking for this event will close on Wednesday 3rd July at 10am - places are limited so do book as soon as you can!**
