Refurbishment of the Hall
The refurbishment of the Hall is an extremely exciting project and, as mentioned in the Michaemas 2017 issue of the College Magazine, we have created a page on the College website to enable you to to follow the progress of the work.
The Hall has not been refurbished since 1966, when it was controversially restored to the original Wyatt scheme when the Burges panelling was removed. Benfield and Loxley, local contractors who have worked with a number of Oxford Colleges, have been appointed, and work began immediately after Freshers' Week. The Hall will be closed for Michaelmas and Hilary term, and will be open for business at the start of Trinity Term, when a number of celebration dinners will be organised.
