Worcester College is one of 38 constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. Founded in 1714, it occupies a 26 acre site on the western side of the city centre where the Benedictines first founded Gloucester College in 1283. Some of the buildings of the earlier college survive, and the resulting mixture of architectural styles together with the beautiful gardens, lake, and sports field attract conferences from around the world.
The College offers a variety of conference and event venues to suit your needs, with audio-visual equipment, wireless internet, and technical support, on request.
Out of term, and depending on the requirements of each conference, we can accommodate between 25 and 250 delegates in single en-suite study bedrooms, all of which have ethernet access points. Day meetings can be accommodated year-round.
The College is ideally located to welcome guests from the UK and abroad. Conveniently situated near the Gloucester Green coach terminal and the national railway station, direct transport is available to and from London, all major UK cities, the Thornhill Park and Ride, and Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
